Trip Overview
What to Expect
The Chemka Hot Springs Escape is a half-day getaway from Arusha that takes you to one of Tanzania's most enchanting natural wonders. Tucked away in the Maasai Steppe, the Chemka (also known as Kikuletwa) hot springs are a series of crystal-clear thermal pools fed by underground geothermal springs flowing from Mount Kilimanjaro's volcanic slopes. The water maintains a constant, comfortable temperature year-round, perfect for swimming and floating in an open-air natural spa.
