Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins after breakfast in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive where you can see lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes near the Tarangire River. Later in the evening, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or similar mid-range lodge.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and enter the Serengeti National Park, the heart of Africa’s wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the golden plains, watching for big cats, elephants, and wildebeests. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp or Into Wild Africa Camp – both comfortable tented lodges inside Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
